Privacy Policy

FemQ is a nutrition and wellness tool for adults aged 18 and over. This policy describes what leaves your phone, what does not, and what you can do about it.
There is no account
FemQ never asks for your name, your email address, your phone number, your contacts or your location. You do not sign up and you do not log in. When you first open the app it generates a random identifier on your device. That identifier is not derived from anything about you and cannot be used to find you.
What stays on your phone
Your profile (age, height, weight, goal, activity level), every meal you log, your water, workouts, mood, cycle phase and all of your scores and history are stored **on your device only**, in the operating system's app storage and secure keystore. We do not hold a copy. There is no server-side record of your account, because there is no account.
What leaves your phone
Only two things are ever transmitted, and neither is retained:
- Meal photos. When you photograph a meal, the image is sent over an encrypted connection to our service and from there to our AI provider to identify the food and estimate its calories and macros. The result comes back to your phone. The photo is not stored by us at any point.
- Advisor messages. When you use the in-app advisor, your message, the recent conversation and a small amount of context (your goal, your age, your activity level) are sent the same way so the reply can be relevant. Nothing is stored by us.
Our service holds no database, no file storage and no cache. It passes these requests through and keeps nothing.

AppsFlyer measures advertising. If you allow it, your device's advertising identifier is shared with AppsFlyer so we can tell which advert led to an install. This is sharing with a third party for advertising and marketing, and we declare it as such on both app stores. If you decline the consent prompt — or Apple's tracking prompt on iOS — it does not run and nothing is shared.
Payments are handled entirely by the App Store and Google Play. We never see or store your card details, and there is no payment path outside the stores.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, your device's push token is used to send the meal and water reminders you turned on. Turn them off in Settings at any time.
Deleting your data
Because your data lives on your phone, you are already holding all of it. Settings contains a single control that erases everything — profile, meals, history and the random identifier. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and it needs no request and no approval from us. Deleting the app also removes it.

Children
FemQ is for adults. The app refuses to create a plan for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Not a medical service
FemQ does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition and is not a substitute for medical care. It is not designed for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with an eating disorder. Talk to a clinician about anything clinical — including whether a weight-loss plan is right for you at all.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above and, for anything material, tell you in the app.
