In short

FemQ is a nutrition and wellness app for adults. You photograph meals, it estimates calories and macros, and it keeps a daily budget that adjusts to your cycle. It is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. There is no account. Your data stays on your phone. The subscription auto-renews and you cancel it in the App Store or Google Play, not with us. Estimates are estimates — check anything that matters.

Who may use FemQ

You must be 18 or older. The app refuses to build a plan for anyone younger.

Do not use FemQ if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have or are recovering from an eating disorder. A calorie deficit is not appropriate in those situations and the app does not have a mode for them.

What FemQ is not

FemQ does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent or monitor any disease or condition. It is not a regulated medical device, not a clinical tool and not a substitute for a doctor, a dietitian or a therapist. Nothing it shows you is medical advice. If you have a health condition, take medication, or are unsure whether losing weight is right for you, speak to a clinician before changing what you eat.

Calorie, macro and micronutrient figures are estimates produced by an AI model from a photograph or a description. They are frequently approximate and sometimes wrong. Treat them as a guide, correct them when you can see they are off, and do not rely on them where accuracy matters medically — allergies, intolerances, therapeutic diets or anything a clinician has prescribed. Always read the actual product label.

Your account and your data

There is no account. The app generates a random identifier on your device on first launch. Your profile, meals and history are stored on your phone and we hold no copy. That means we cannot recover your data if you lose or reset your phone, erase the app's data, or uninstall it. If you want it kept, keep your own record.

Subscriptions and billing

FemQ Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store and Google Play:

• Weekly — US$7.99 per week, with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers
• 6 months — US$44.99, with an introductory first month at US$0.99 for new subscribers

Prices in other countries are set per region by the store and are shown to you before you buy. The price you see at purchase is the price that applies.

Billing, renewal, trials and refunds are handled by Apple and Google. We never see or hold your card details.

• Payment is taken when you confirm the purchase, and again at each renewal.
• A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Cancel through the store: iPhone → Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Android → Play Store → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
• Cancelling stops future charges. You keep Pro until the period you have already paid for runs out. We do not pro-rate part-periods.
• If you start a free trial and do not cancel before it ends, it converts to a paid subscription at the price shown.
• A free trial or introductory price is available once per store account. Using one on a second subscription does not grant it again.
• Refunds are at the discretion of Apple or Google under their own policies. We cannot issue a refund for a store purchase. Ask them, and tell us so we can support the request.

Where the law gives you a statutory withdrawal or cooling-off right, that right stands and nothing here removes it.

Acceptable use

Do not reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the app; do not attempt to bypass the paywall, licence checks or rate limits; do not automate requests to our service; do not use it to build a competing dataset or service; do not upload content that is unlawful or that you have no right to send.

We may suspend access that is being used abusively or that puts the service at risk.

AI content

Meal identification and the in-app advisor are produced by an AI model. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate for your circumstances. It is generated, not reviewed by a person, and it is not professional advice of any kind.

Availability

We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and the app may be unavailable during maintenance or because a third-party provider is down. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Intellectual property

The app, its content and its branding belong to Dr Gotthilf LLC. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you control. Your own logged data is yours.

Liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or any health outcome arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your mandatory local-law rights are unaffected.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The date above changes and, for anything material, we tell you in the app. Continuing to use FemQ after a change means you accept it.

Termination

You may stop using FemQ at any time by deleting the app. We may end your licence if you breach these Terms. Sections on liability, intellectual property and billing survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Wyoming have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.

Apple and Google

Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no responsibility for the app. They are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. Any claim about the app is against us, not against them.
